At the end of December 2016, Yatai International Holding Group set up a research team to conduct field research in the Shuigou Valley area of Karen State, Myanmar.

On January 1, 2017, after the research of the group, it was decided to make every effort to deploy Myanmar – to build an international smart industry new city in the Yatai region.
