“Dragon Soars, Prosperity Blooms – Spring Festival Gala of Water Gougu Asia-Pacific City Shines Brightly

The Jade Rabbit gracefully bids farewell to the old year, while the Golden Dragon fiercely welcomes the new year. On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, on February 9th, the 2024 Spring Festival Gala of Asia-Pacific City, organized by Myanmar Asia Pacific International Holdings Group, was grandly held at the Triumphal Arch Square.

The gala, themed “Forge Ahead in the New Journey, Contribute to the New Era”, was divided into three chapters: “Celebrating the New Spring in Unison”, “Building a Harmonious Home Together”, and “Dreaming Together, Boldly Opening a New Chapter”. The program was splendid, lively, and heartwarming, filled with the rich cultural characteristics of China and Myanmar and the joyous atmosphere, showcasing the strong festive atmosphere and happiness, demonstrating the unity and dream-building bond of Water Gougu Asia-Pacific City.

The gala kicked off with the resounding drums of “Auspicious Lion Presents Blessings”, and the splendid lights, spirited music, and gorgeous dance moves quickly immersed the audience in a festive atmosphere of joy and celebration.

[Celebrating the New Spring in Unison]

The people of the Asia-Pacific are rooted in Water Gougu, using culture as a bridge to promote cultural exchanges and enhance mutual understanding, thus strengthening the bond of “brotherhood”. Ethnic dances from Karen State, modern dances, and more took turns on stage, presenting the regional characteristics of China, Thailand, and Myanmar, as well as the unique charm of Southeast Asia, painting a colorful picture of the border city. The Asia-Pacific band sang classic Burmese songs, integrating the lives of the Karen people into the music, showcasing their diligent, brave, kind, and simple spirit. The audience experienced the grandeur of ethnic culture and appreciated the beauty of the unique Asia-Pacific region in this visual feast!

[Building a Harmonious Home Together]

Building a harmonious home together, interactive games bring joy. This gala also prepared two interactive games, “Beer Drinking Contest” and “Balloon Stepping – Safe and Sound”, where everyone enjoyed laughter and fun, shared joy, and strengthened friendship. In the “Beer Drinking Contest”, beer enthusiasts were selected to gulp down a whole bottle of beer with boldness and enthusiasm, reflecting the fiery and hearty spirit ingrained in the DNA of the Asia-Pacific people, injecting new vitality into the city’s spiritual civilization construction, and serving as a business card for the city!
